Mothers’ Union

The Mothers’ Union is a Christian organisation which has been supporting mothers and families worldwide for over 140 years. Started by its founder Mary Sumner in 1876, the charity now has over 4 million members in 84 countries. 

St Mary, Newmarket hosts a local branch of the Mothers’ Union which meets regularly in the church with a Corporate Communion service on the third Wednesday of every month and branch meetings on the first Thursday or Friday of most months alternating between morning and afternoon times to which all are welcome.
