Annual Parochial Church Meeting
Monday 27 April 7.00 pm in Church all welcome

Important information from John Borda
The closure of Lloyds will mean that there are no more banks in Newmarket. This has triggered a process to install a “banking hub”, used by all the banks for largely the same functions as they used their bank premises.
Counter services are still available at the Post Office, and will also be offered at the hub, with the addition of other services by banks on a rotating basis.
The plan is to open it before Lloyds closes. More info will be available when a suitable property has been selected.

Newmarket Community Choir St Mary’s 7.30pm Saturday 18 April
Refreshments in the Interval in aid of Nexus their chosen Charity.
Janet R-H will have some tickets available at £5 each and to buy at the door.

St Mary’s Charitable Giving
During 2026 we will be raising money for Red2Green, a local charity based in Swaffham Bulbeck, which aims to support people with learning disabilities or on the autism spectrum.  A speaker from Red2Green is coming to the Mothers’ Union on Thursday 7th May where they will be talking about one of their projects, Gardening for the Learning Disabled

Newmarket Open Door is in need of food and preferably monetary or voucher donations as more people are using the Food Bank.

I have booked to see Sleeping Beauty ballet at the Royal Albert Hall matinee performance for 26th June 2026. Tickets will be £75/78 depending on coach fees. Almost half of the seats have already been reserved! There is a list at the back if you wish to go. Janet Ramsay-Helie 07759 679 426
