12th Annual Jigsaw Festival 2023
& 10th British Jigsaw Championships 2023
The 2023 Festival took place from Friday 23 June to Wednesday 28 June. Over 1500 completed jigsaws in varying sizes, shapes, topics and manufacturers were available in an ever changing display and all of them were for sale. There were also bargain tables of used and brand new sealed puzzles and an opportunity to help complete a jigsaw whilst you were there; something for everyone to enjoy!

Results of the 10th British Jigsaw Championships
held on Sunday 25 June 2023
in the Turner Hall, the Racing Centre and the Stables in Newmarket

Winner of the Elite Class:
Sarah Mills in 1 hour 52 mins 
Sarah retains her title as British Jigsaw Champion for the ninth year in succession!
Second Place: Cathy Evans 1 hour 56 minutes
Winners of the Pairs Class
Winners: SJ Bodell and Dan Martin 1 hour 39 minutes
SJ and Dan retain their Championship title for the fourth year in succession!
Winners of the Fun Class:
Emma Cobb, Sue and Richard 2 hours 15 minutes
Congratulations to the winners and to all who took part.
It was a great day all round with contestants from far and wide including Yorkshire, London and Edinburgh to mention but a few. The Mayor of Newmarket and even the President of the Australian Jigsaw Federation were both with us on the Sunday plus the local media. The BBC news article may be read here.
